Description
Adding support to AVIReader for many different AVI codecs is outside the scope of Bio-Formats, but msrle is presumably a run-length encoding scheme that would not be too difficult. There is sample data in data/avi/chip_avi compressed with the msrle codec. We may also wish to consider support for writing msrle if the gains in file size are significant enough.
