Description
The VisBio GUI is powerful, but quite cumbersome for common tasks. It would be better if the data transform model were not exposed to the user so directly. Instead, common built-in data transform types should be integrated more cleanly into the GUI. There should probably still be a way to list arbitrary extensions (i.e., third party developer transforms added in to the mix), but it should be as unobtrusive as possible. Things like creating a set of overlays, or an arbitrary slice, should have friendly GUI tools.
