See notes and screenshots in /scratch/josh/. #567 should be fixed first, as it prevents Bio-Formats from reading the screenshots correctly.

Many of the issues reported here were invalid or have since been fixed. However, there were a few small things that have still not been resolved; see #630, #631, #632, and #633.
