Investigate consolidating 'showinf' and 'bfview'

Description

Since 'showinf' does everything that 'bfview' does and then some, it might be worth consolidating the two commands.

(In [7471]) 'bfview' now has the same behavior as 'showinf', except that a deprecation message is printed when using 'bfview'. Closes #613.
