Image window does not size down properly after being sized up

The GUI scales upwards properly when the image window is resized to be wider, but when it is then adjusted back down to its original width, the GUI does not properly scale down again.

Fixed in r2498. The problem was due to improper CacheIndicator preferred, minimum and maximum size reporting.
